Mike Mahon paints from what he knows best: the colors and people of Texas, Northern New Mexico, and Mexico. His landscapes, portraits, and slice-of-life vignettes depict a taste for the unusual scenes, expressions, and moments that most of us miss. His impressionistic style adds depth and a surprising realism of light and shadow to his paintings. He was one of the featured artists in the 2004 edition of 100 Ways to Paint People and Figures, published by International Artist Magazine. Mike teaches painting workshops and is available to judge art shows and give art programs.
Besides teaching workshops and his Saturday Studio©, Mike judges shows, takes portrait commissions on a waiting list, and is represented by several galleries in Texas and New Mexico.
Mike's studio/gallery is in Santa Fe, New Mexico; phone 505-473-1098 or check out his comprehensive web site, www.mmahon.com, which features many of his paintings, articles about his work, and step-by-step painting demonstrations. Tell him you found him at pathpublishing.com.
Janey Esely

Besides Janey’s illustrations for several children’s books, she is skilled in oils and watercolors. Her training with noted instructors has led to her inclusion in the Best of the Southwest show in Amarillo for three years, and other showings. Her talent, her love for Jesus, and her desire for historical accuracy, as in this illustration for a short story, make her a talented addition to any staff. C.W. Miller

Cleta’s talent was evident even as a girl, winning first place in a nation-wide Milton Bradley Crayon contest for fifth graders. Numerous other awards and contests have been won by her over the years. She is the primary artistic consultant for Path Publishing.
